No stones on this one — the work is all in the metal. A teardrop stud carries a raised star flower, and the chand below is an open ring filled with radiating rope lines and edged in granulation. Twelve small silver bells hang from two rows of links along the bottom.
- Oxidised silver-tone finish over a base-metal alloy
- Open chand frame with radiating rope-work and a granulated rim
- Raised star flower on the teardrop stud top
- Fringe of twelve small silver-tone bells on two rows of links
- Post-and-push-back stud fitting
Because there is no colour in it, this is the pair that goes on with a cotton kurta on a working day and again with a silk one at a family function. The open frame keeps it light, and the bells give the small sound the brand is named after. If you want a stone at the centre of the same shape, see the white stone ghungroo chandbali.
Materials & finish
Materials & finish
Oxidised silver or gold-plated finish over a base-metal alloy. Stones are cut and cabochon glass in kundan-style settings; pearls are faux. This is imitation jewellery, not precious metal or gemstone.
Care
Care
Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray, and store each pair separately so the finishes do not rub. Wipe with a dry cloth after wearing.
