A large hexagonal crystal in a champagne tone is set flat in a gold bezel and outlined with a border of small clear stones – the effect polki jewellery gets from an uncut stone. A row of round crystals runs under the bezel, and from those hangs a full cluster of oval and round faux pearls.
- Gold-plated finish over a base-metal alloy
- Hexagonal champagne crystal in a flat bezel with a pave border
- Row of round crystals beneath the centre stone
- Cluster of oval and round faux pearls on short links
- Post-and-push-back stud fitting
Champagne, crystal and cream pearl is a wedding-guest palette that photographs well — it holds up against a sage, powder-pink or gold saree, and it is short enough to wear with a choker. For the rectangular version of this stone, see the emerald-cut crystal studs; for the same idea with no pearls, see the crystal crescent studs.
Materials & finish
Materials & finish
Oxidised silver or gold-plated finish over a base-metal alloy. Stones are cut and cabochon glass in kundan-style settings; pearls are faux. This is imitation jewellery, not precious metal or gemstone.
Care
Care
Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray, and store each pair separately so the finishes do not rub. Wipe with a dry cloth after wearing.
